This is my personal blog for uuuuh
Here, I’ll talk about the media I’m currently wasting my finite existence on and maybe other topics—I can’t promise any consistency.
I have the attention span of a poisoned goldfish so I dunno how long this will last before I inevitably get bored. My trusty therapist (the monthly tarot reading) says I should try new stuff, so here we are.
A few points:
- This blog is meant as a public repository
- I won’t be talking (much) about work here
I’m both too young to have any nostalgia for the age of blogging and too old to be part of the hipster wave that’s currently trying to revive it. This format is a mere convenience.
I have severe detachment issues, so I’m liable to just up and leave any social media platform I’m currently on at any time for any number of undisclosed reasons.
This blog serves as a permanent repository for what I deem “non-disposable thoughts”, so as not to lose them if/when I decide I no longer want to be on a social site.
As for work related ramblings, you can find my writings on localization in loclait’s and Eternal Dream Arabization’s blogs.
My work related blogposts are both better researched and written than the stream of consciousness you’ll find here. I recommend checking those blogs instead if you’re a colleague who ended up here while checking my personal website, or if you’re just interested in localization.
Aside from close friends, and perhaps bored wanderers, I don’t expect anyone to read my posts. Thus, everything I write here is informed by its target audience: myself, and my oomfies.
Expect nothing and you won’t be disappointed.
